Welcome, I’m Zahrina, an award-winning Australian artist, author of 6 books, speaker and adventure, fun and foodie seeker!
My work lives at the intersection of:

- Conserve - using creativity to spotlight our oceans, wildlife and fragile places
I’ve taken my love of ethereal painting, my long-term connection with Taronga Zoo and my passion for our oceans, and poured it into my intimate Paint & Walk™️ adventures.

Welcome by the sea
First up we meet at beautiful Balmoral Beach in a small group of 8 women maximum.
Think warm hellos, a relaxed intro and a moment to arrive fully – not rushed, not stressed.
Slow coastal walk & creative noticing
We take an easy Paint & Walk™️ session along the foreshore.
No hiking poles. No pressure. Just…
- Fresh sea air
- Soft sand underfoot
- Time to really see light, colour, texture, and tiny details in nature you usually miss
I’ll guide you to look at the world through an artist’s eyes, even if you’ve never picked up a brush before.
Guided painting session
(no experience needed)
We settle into a cosy spot with provided art gear.
I’ll show you so achievable, simple, enjoyable ways to play with brushstrokes, colour and texture so you can…

- You’ll be gently guided, never judged. This is a shame-free, comparison-free zone.
Ocean-side reflection & connection
